Fuck With Noodles: The Gorillaz Guitarists "Kick-Ass Women Mix"
Chris Daly provides the soundtrack to your protest in the form of Noodles' kickass playlist.
Chris Daly has sunshine in a bag.
If you're going to D.C. on January 21 for the Women's March, you've inevitably already found a place to crash, airfare has been covered, etc.. Of course, now we come to one of the most important questions that you've left until the last minute for whatever reason—how to soundtrack this historic event? Listen, we love YG & Nipsey Hussle as much, if not more, than the next person, but you can only play FDT so many times in a row before people are going to start to look at you funny (plus, there will be little ones there, and won't anyone think of the children?!?!).
Fortunately, your favorite fictitious guitarist from your favorite cartoon band has put together the following feminist mix for all your protesting needs. In the lead-up to their next album, indeterminately aged Noodle of the Gorillaz loaded a 30-minute mix of "kick-ass women who in their own individual ways are true pioneers in the writing, production and creation of MUSIC" to the band's Sound Cloud account. It might not include the greatest female protest song of the '90s, but if you can't use this one to fight the power, you're just not trying.
