Harold Stallworth likes to party all the time.
This is the ninth consecutive seasonal mixtape that I’ve curated for Passion of the Weiss. I usually try to work around a loose theme (like blaxploitation soundtracks or go-go bands or east coast bias), but this time around, the goal was simply make a good blend, something funky to listen to. Most, if not all of these records are tropical in their own way. This is the soundtrack to a vacation upon which I’ll probably never embark.
