The Kills-"Black Balloon" Video

Cursory observations from The Kills' new video:

a) Is it just me or has Allison Mosshart become a rich man's Meg White?

b) Hotel is becoming more Doherty-esque by the day. Say what you want about Kate Moss, at least she has a type.

c) Marlboro Menthols? Really? If you're treading down the path of mint-laced refreshment, the wise move is to either keep it grizzly and smoke Newports, or opt for the voice-box, old lady, Benson & Hedges route. The monocle-sporting, Nat Sherman bent is also PotW approved.

The Black Balloon EP comes out next month and I'm amped for the duo's Coachella date. There's also an international tour this spring--dates below the jump.
