The Todd Terje BBC Essential Mix
I wrote about Todd Terje last October, which you have already forgotten about, because I have forgotten about it -- even though that was the point of the post. The Ouroboros will devour us all. If you were unaware, Terje is the Norse remaster of the universe, a title that he may have stolen from Diddy. Then again, Diddy probably forgot about it too. The point of this post isn't to glorify mustache-sporting Euros recumbent on a beach in the sunset (well, maybe a little), but rather to point out that Terje's Essential Mix has gone up on the BBC.
The downside is that there is too little Terje. The plus side is that he has including all sorts of esoteric producers to discover. Plus, reggae, Men at Work remixes,Herb Alpert, The Doors, and The Steve Miller Band. Scoff now, Daft Punk already did what Homer Simpson could not: make Steve Miller seem cool. Sort of. Either way, listen to this mix, grow out your mustache to Scandinavian lengths, enjoy all 23 hours of daylight while it lasts.
